Lerners LLP Welcomes New Partner Pam Hrick

Lerners LLP is proud to welcome Pam Hrick as a partner in our Toronto office. Joining the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Advocacy and Personal Injury (Sexual Assault & Abuse) practice groups, Pam brings a broad and sophisticated litigation background shaped by her leadership in feminist advocacy, her work on high‑impact constitutional and equality cases, and her extensive experience navigating complex administrative and regulatory matters.

Pam’s career reflects a long‑standing dedication to excellence in advocacy and defending constitutional rights. As Executive Director and General Counsel at the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF), she led influential interventions in constitutional and equality litigation and spearheaded national initiatives focused on advancing the rights of women, girls, and gender‑diverse people. 

Prior to LEAF, Pam maintained a wide‑ranging litigation practice with a focus on administrative and regulatory law, constitutional law, sexual violence matters, criminal law, and appeals and judicial reviews. She has appeared as counsel at all levels of court in Ontario, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. 

Pam also serves the profession through her elected role as a Bencher of the Law Society of Ontario and as an Adjudicator with the Law Society Tribunal, contributing her expertise to the regulation of the legal profession. 

Pam’s contributions to the profession have been recognized through multiple honours, most recently the Women’s Law Association of Ontario (WLAO) President’s Award (2025), which celebrates distinguished leadership and a demonstrated commitment to advancing women in the law. 

Joining us immediately after International Women’s Day, Pam’s arrival at Lerners is a timely recognition of her leadership in advancing gender equity and strengthening the legal profession through principled advocacy.
