Lerners LLP has been named Regional Law Firm of the Year - Ontario at the 2026 Canadian Law Awards, recognizing the firm’s excellence in advocacy, service, and professional leadership across the province.

The Canadian Law Awards, presented annually by Canadian Lawyer and Lexpert, celebrate outstanding achievement across the Canadian legal profession. The Regional Law Firm of the Year category recognizes firms that demonstrate “quantity, quality, importance and innovativeness of legal work performed during 2025”. Lerners was selected as the Ontario winner following a review by an independent judging panel.

“This is a significant recognition for our firm, and it is one that belongs to every single person at Lerners,” said Cynthia Kuehl, Firm Chair. “Awards like this are never the result of one case, one practice group, or one individual. They reflect the cumulative impact of how we show up every day for our clients, for each other, and for the communities we serve.”

The 2026 Canadian Law Awards were announced on May 5, 2026, at a gala recognizing top law firms, legal teams and individual practitioners from across the country.
