Debbie Boswell Recognized with 2026 Women’s Law Association of Ontario Emerging Leader Award

Lerners is proud to announce that Debbie Boswell is the recipient of this year’s Women’s Law Association of Ontario (WLAO) Emerging Leader Award, which will be formally presented to her at the WLAO President’s Awards Gala in May. 

Debbie’s recognition reflects her leadership within the profession, her dedication to excellence in legal practice, and her commitment to mentorship, education, and pro bono work. In addition to her practice, Debbie is actively involved in teaching and professional development, sharing her knowledge with students, early career lawyers, and legal professionals. She is widely respected for her collaborative approach, generosity with her time and expertise, and her professionalism, empathy, and integrity. 

A vocal advocate for equity and inclusion, Debbie regularly writes and speaks on issues impacting women in law, including pay equity and systemic barriers to advancement. Through her practice, teaching, mentorship, and thought leadership, she continues to contribute meaningfully to a more inclusive and equitable legal community.
