Danielle Douek is a partner in the London office of Lerners LLP. She is a passionate advocate with a diverse practice encompassing many areas of civil and administrative litigation. She has appeared as trial counsel in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and at the appellate level, as well as before various tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.

She has a particular interest and expertise in the health and post-secondary education sectors, where she provides advice and representation to her clients in relation to privacy, professional liability and human rights issues.

Danielle’s education law practice focuses on providing advice and representation to her clients in the post-secondary education sector in relation to civil litigation matters along with advice in varied areas including academic matters, privacy and human rights. Most recently, she has supported her education sector clients in navigating complex legal issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic including in relation to vaccination mandates, masking, and accommodation requests.
