Lerners LLP is proud to announce that Yola Ventresca has been named one of Canadian Lawyer’s Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers for 2026, recognizing a career distinguished by legal excellence, institutional leadership, and a sustained contribution to the profession.
Yola is the Managing Partner of Lerners’ London office and an accomplished litigator and strategic adviser. Her practice spans health, employment, regulatory and institutional matters, with clients regularly turning to her for advice on complex issues that require not only legal judgment, but an understanding of leadership, organizational dynamics, and reputational risk. Within Lerners, she has also played a significant role in the Firm’s leadership and in shaping initiatives involving talent development, mentorship, workplace culture, and the future of the profession.
Her influence has extended well beyond her own practice. Yola has consistently invested in developing other lawyers, advancing women in the profession, and creating opportunities for people who may not enter law with established networks, sponsorship, or access to traditional sources of professional advantage. She has also contributed to the profession through teaching, writing, speaking, governance, and service to legal and community organizations.
