Environment & Sustainability Committee Fall Cleanup Event

Oct 24, 2025

As autumn settles in and the air turns crisp, Lerners embraced the season with a fall cleanup initiative. Fifteen firm members, led by our Environment & Sustainability Committee, came together on October 14 for a Fall Cleanup event at Harris Park. Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, our volunteers collected approximately 35 bags of waste.

From litter along the riverbanks to debris hidden beneath fallen leaves, every piece removed during our cleanup helped restore Harris Park’s natural beauty — and played a vital role in protecting the Thames River.

Waste near waterways can quickly enter the river system, threatening aquatic life, polluting habitats, and impacting water quality. By clearing debris from the riverbanks and surrounding trails, our team helped safeguard this essential ecosystem and support the health of native species.

We’re proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful impact and grateful to everyone who participated — your efforts help keep our city clean, safe, and thriving.

We look forward to continuing our involvement in local initiatives that promote a cleaner, healthier environment, including our next park cleanup planned for Spring 2026.
