About Yara

Yara is an associate in Lerners’ Health Law and Dispute Resolution and Advocacy practice groups.

Yara earned her J.D. from Western Law, where she served as President of the Student Legal Society in her final year. Throughout law school, she developed a strong interest in health law through her research with Western’s Health Ethics, Law & Policy (HELP) Lab.

Yara completed her articles at a leading management-side labour and employment law firm, where she represented employers in a broad range of workplace matters, practised in both English and French, and developed thorough legal research skills and practical advocacy skills in litigation, drafting, and dispute resolution.

Yara brings a multilingual perspective to her practice and enjoys connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds. Adaptable and personable, she values building strong relationships with her clients and is committed to providing clear communication, practical advice, and responsive service throughout every stage of a matter.
