About Kendra

Kendra Tatemichi is an associate in the firm’s Toronto office working with the Health Law and Specialty Risk and Insurance Law groups.  

While articling at Lerners, Kendra worked on a range of civil litigation matters including privacy, commercial disputes, municipal liability, personal injury, insurance, and health law matters.  

Drawing on her experience as a teacher, Kendra brings unique insights to her advocacy work. She summarizes complex details for clients in privacy, insurance, health, and commercial disputes. Known for fostering strong relationships, Kendra’s advocacy skills are also strengthened by her empathy to deliver effective and creative solutions to legal challenges.  

Prior to joining Lerners, Kendra summered at a boutique commercial litigation firm in Toronto. During law school, Kendra was an avid mooter. She competed nationally and internationally, earning the Best New Team award at the 2025 Oxford University Intellectual Property moot in Oxford, England.
