Danielle’s practice spans health law and professional regulation, insurance defence and professional liability, and the post-secondary education sector. In her health law practice, she defends physicians and other health professionals in medical malpractice litigation and represents regulated professionals facing complaints, investigations, and disciplinary and regulatory proceedings.

She also acts for insurers and insureds in a broad range of defence matters, offering practical, strategic advice from the earliest stages of a claim through resolution.

In the post-secondary education sector, Danielle advises and represents universities and other institutions in civil and administrative proceedings and on institutional matters involving labour disputes and arbitrations, privacy and access to information, human rights, and academic issues.

Danielle is also developing a focus in Canadian maritime law, particularly in relation to the Great Lakes.
