A Natural Progression into Health Law
Kathryn Ball is a partner in Lerners Toronto office and a member of the Health Law, and Specialty Risk and Insurance groups.
Known for a detailed and analytical approach to her work, Kathryn is committed to responsiveness and keeping clients informed, so they are comfortable with the legal process.
Health law was a natural progression for Kathryn, who, while earning a Bachelor of Nursing Science, took placements that provided her practical experience in clinical settings.
Kathryn is also experienced in assisting regulated health professionals in matters before the various regulatory colleges in Ontario. She also acts as independent legal counsel for a busy regulatory College, and has experience acting as counsel for regulators in civil litigation matters. As a result of her experience, she is able to offer advice from both the perspective of members and regulators.
Placing value on teamwork and exchange of ideas, Kathryn enjoys mentoring associates and articling students.
