Defending Complex Matters When Reputation is Key

Jennifer Hunter is a partner at Lerners LLP and the Practice Group Leader of the Specialty Risk and Insurance Group in Toronto.

She has nearly 20 years of litigation experience with a practice focused on the defence of complex matters on behalf of public entities, and in the areas of professional liability, and medical malpractice. She has particular expertise in privacy and technology, areas in which she represents individuals, professionals, institutions and companies.

Jennifer also advises clients in relation to privacy matters arising out of policies, procedures and contracts, acts as breach counsel in response to cyber incidents, and represents clients in response to complaints, reviews, and investigations at the provincial and federal privacy Commissioners.

She is an experienced advocate who has appeared as trial and appellate counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, and many tribunals.

Jennifer Hunter is a partner at Lerners LLP and the Practice Group Leader of the Specialty Risk and Insurance Group in Toronto.

She has nearly 20 years of litigation experience with a practice focused on the defence of complex matters on behalf of public entities, and in the areas of professional liability, and medical malpractice. She has particular expertise in privacy and technology, areas in which she represents individuals, professionals, institutions and companies.

Jennifer also advises clients in relation to privacy matters arising out of policies, procedures and contracts, acts as breach counsel in response to cyber incidents, and represents clients in response to complaints, reviews, and investigations at the provincial and federal privacy Commissioners.

She is an experienced advocate who has appeared as trial and appellate counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, and many tribunals.
