Helping Clients Reclaim their Lives
Cale Sutherland is a partner in Lerners' London office and a member of the Health Law and Personal Injury groups. Throughout over a decade of experience, Cale has earned the reputation of a conscientious lawyer and effective advocate.
“My professional philosophy is short and simple: I work tirelessly for my clients and I’m available when they need me,” says Cale. “My clients can expect me to be thoughtful, empathetic, hard working, and realistic. I aim to deliver results — people hire me to help them reclaim their lives, and I do not lose sight of that goal.”
Diligence, compassion, and attention to detail characterize Cale’s approach to his work. “People want to be heard, whether that’s in their initial call with their lawyer, at an examination
Interested in technology, Cale was successful in the firm’s first virtual plaintiff personal injury trial, during the COVID-19 pandemic. “That was formative for me,” he recalls. “We had to present weeks’ worth of evidence through our laptops. No one at Lerners had done that before and it required a lot of creativity on our part.”

Cale is active in the local community. “I see myself as a London lawyer,” he says, “not just as a litigator or a personal injury lawyer. I am as connected to the area and its people as much as I am to my profession.”
In his spare time, Cale enjoys spending time with his young family, playing hockey and baseball, playing drums, listening to music, cooking, and reading historical non-fiction.

I look at every interaction I have with my clients through that lens.”

So, although I'm a partner at Lerners and I've been doing this for a decade, I've actually been helping people achieve important outcomes in their lives since I was 18 years old,” he adds.
