Practice Overview

Danielle Douek is a partner in the London office of Lerners LLP. She is a passionate advocate with a diverse practice encompassing many areas of civil litigation and administrative law. She has appeared as trial counsel in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and at the appellate level, as well as before tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.

Danielle’s education law practice focuses on providing advice and representation to her clients in the post-secondary education sector in relation to civil litigation matters along with advice in varied areas including academic matters, privacy and human rights. Most recently, she has supported her education sector clients in navigating complex legal issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic including in relation to vaccination mandates, masking, and accommodation requests.

Danielle brings value to her relationships with in-house counsel through her collaborative and practical approach. She is responsive, detail oriented and sensitive to the needs and priorities of her clients.
