Renée Zatzman Stein is a partner in Lerners’ Toronto office. Her broad litigation practice encompasses the areas of professional liability, municipal/public entity liability, medical negligence, and insurance defence. Prior to joining Lerners, Renée practiced at a national law firm where she gained expertise litigating complex commercial matters.
Renée works closely with clients to resolve civil and regulatory disputes and address legal risk. Her practical and direct approach has helped to guide her clients through challenging situations quickly and effectively. Renée has served as trial counsel before the Toronto Commercial List, as well as in medical negligence and criminal matters.
She regularly appears before Ontario courts and various administrative tribunals, including the Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Physicians and Surgeons Discipline Tribunal.
Outside of her legal practice, Renée enjoys travel, musical theatre, and live events.
